April Theme of the Month

This month we are focused on a service we provide that is often times hard to talk about: Biohazard Cleanup Services. This is a service that many never think about until they are in the situation to need services. Some people may try to clean this up themselves, but it is best to always choose a trained professional to come in and take care of the issue.

• Because it is traumatic: When it is a personal connection, it is emotionally taxing to clean up the area when it is a traumatic loss.
• Because it is safer: Any human or animal remains or fluids (including blood, feces, vomit) are all considered biohazard. That means that they can carry life threatening pathogens to the person cleaning up the area. When working with life threatening pathogens, it is important to remove and dispose of this waste properly. SERVPRO of Allen, Barren, Hart, Green and Taylor Counties has completed the proper trainings, including being registered and compliant with OSHA and FEMA guidelines.
